  • I was looking forward to reviewing this product as part of Amazon Vine’s review team, but I only received one small, dented, cardboard encased 11 oz unit.

O.N.E Amazon (no relationship to Amazon.com) Acal is said to be “naturally” grown in the Amazon. Does that mean “organic”? It is also said to be very high in Vitamins B, E, omega 3, 6 & 9, Minerals (and I assume some trace elements if grown naturally), Ellagic acid and antioxidants. I don’t know how to test that but if true that is excellent for the maintenance of all kinds of bodily systems.

I suppose that one would have to drink a half gallon a day to get minimal benefits. And not the skimpy 11 oz sample.

The taste is OK. And for serious drinkers, I imagine it would make a nice addition to a chilled, tropical mixed drink whether you have a decorative umbrella or not.

  • I have never had acai fruit before so I was very interested to try this drink. This fruit is definitely an acquired taste. It is very high in antioxidants as a fruit but the drink would not satisfy everyone. I didn’t mind the drink but I probably won’t be drinking it on a regular basis.

  • Although the O.N.E. Amazon Acai Drink boasts that it “is accented by a splash of Acerola (Amazon Cherry), a delicious berry with more Vitamin C than an orange” the taste is far more reminiscent of vegetable juices than fruit juices.

I realize taste is subjective so I won’t waste a lot of time telling you about the rancid vegetably aftertaste this product left in my mouth. I will say that $2.00 for 11 ounces seems outrageous – health benefits or no.

You would be better off buying some good multi-vitamins and drinking a V8 – at least you would understand and accept the taste of carrots and celery on your tongue then!

  • I researched your site for the best Acai berry juice and ended up choosing this one I have been drinking it for about 3 months now. When I went to order it again for this month they have added a shipping charge of 17.99 I had been receiving supers saver free shipping on this why has this changed for this product? The shipping charge is almost the same price you are charging for the drink. Sad to say I will now have to look else where for a new Acai berry drink where they don’t charge outrageous shipping fees.

    Very Disappointed in your change
