Last week highlight was Oprah getting tough on products that use her image to boost sales. She does not endorse these products, however, her name has become synonymous with the Acai Berry. Unfortunately, the superfood needed her to boost sales from the thousands of affiliates and products looking to gain market share.

A settlement has been reached where benefits claimed didn’t hold up. As with many products available on the market, the FDA is overwhelmed and therefore is up to the consumer to conduct thorough research. The company noted in this news release has settled with the Texas AG’s office, so my first impression is they want to remain in business. This is good. Make things right and carry on my friends.
