Kiehl's Acai Product

“Natural” and “organic” have mostly been used to tout products for consumption like foods and supplements. As noted earlier on this Acai Berry blog, the makeup and hair products industry is getting into the mix. Cosmetics made with organic fruit extracts and sourced-from-the-earth minerals are all the rage.

Kiehl’s Rare Earth pore minimizing collection is made from fair-trade, mineral-rich Amazonian White Clay, while a soon-to-be-in-stores damage-repairing skin care collection contains “super-antioxidant” organic acai berry, said to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and even skin tone.

There’s a new eco-friendly line of hair care called Concept Vert by PRIVE. The packaging for both the shampoo and conditioner is cool in that it uses a pump and most importantly the packaging in recyclable.
